Nose is nice but not striking- funk, lemon. The flavour is great until the barrel kicks in- a bit jarring and astringent, but still good. Despite any barrel detraction, still great.

Clear wine-like gold-orange with no head.
Smell is a little funk, a little caramel, and grapefruit.
I never thought I'd say this about a Cantillon, but it's a little watery. I taste light oak, with a slight acetic sourness, but I'm not entirely sure what else is going on as there is not much in the way of flavor. It's a little floral, yet bitter, while still sour. Apple, I think.
If you want a palate challenge, this is it. Easy drinking, but a true test in identifying descriptors.
