Dusty cherry red appearance with a generous faint white/pink head that quickly recedes to a collar. Taste is raspberry, funk, oak, dry. Moderate body, lively mouthfeel.

Found this one at Moeder Lambic (original) in Brussels. 10th anniversary celebratory for Moeder.
Pours a pinkish white head. Tight bubbles that dissipate quickly. But leaves a nice lace around the edges that protect the top of the beer.
Light pink but not translucent in color reminiscent of a raspberry or rose.
Smells incredibly dry and fruit forward. Good funk and consistent with Cantillon aromas. Honestly I could smell this one forever.
It has been aging for three years and the bartender warned me of it being sour. It has mellowed quite well. Still pretty acidic, but not a punch in the face.
Very well rounded and I prefer this over Rose de Gambrinus.

750ml bottle onsite at Moeder Original for €60. Pinkish-purple color. This was good but it was probably wasted on me since I am not a wine drinker and can't really discern the differences in grapes when they are used in lambic. I remember thinking "it's better than the '16 St. Lamvinus I had the other night so that's a plus".

Bottle at Moeder Lambic 16 November 2018.
I saw this on the menu, freaked out and purchased it like it was an emergency.
Beautiful magenta body with a soft pink head. Aromas of grape, funk. Minerality and earth with notes of lemon, wine, grape skin, funk. Medium-high acidity with a lovely puckering finish. What a memorable way to kick off a great night at one of the best drinking locales on the planet. Santé!

Lambic Au Cabernet Franc 2016
Bottle at moeder original.
White head. Beautiful ruby raspberry color.
This one is heavy on the grapes. Lots of wine notes and tannins. A bit acidic with lemon citrus. Had other fruit flavors as well. A bit of cherry. Very typical cantillon house flavor with small similarities to st. Lam.
Lively feel to it. A fair amount of carbonation creating a bubbly feel.
A very fun beer to try, but I'd like to see what a few years would do to it. It's a bit young, but still very enjoyable.

On tap at Moeder Lambic St-Gilles during the 10th anniversary party. Two years old lambic aged with Cabernet Franc grapes.
A: Pours bright red with a very small head. The color is very impressive.
S: Smell is quite sour, citric and lactic acid. It is really focused on the fruits: grapes and cherries. Something
a little bit green on the nose also.
T: Taste follows. The fruit is pretty straightforward, it kacks a little bit of complexity. I wouldèsay this is too young. Still enjoyable.
M: Soft mouthfeel, good carbonation.
O: A good grape lambic, not as complex as other offerings of the brewery (especially compared to some of the wonderful grape lambic we had on the same day at Cantillon during their open brew days: an awesome 2002 St-Lamvinus, lambic d'Aunis or the new new still St-Lamvinus Grand Cru made with 4 years old lambic). I would love to revisit it with some age on it though.
