Pours a lighter ember color with a small head atop.

Has a floral honey driven red grape smell with a well pronounced vinous tartness to it.

Drinks light with a balancing softness and just a whiff of carbonation during the finish.

Starts of sweet with floral, ripe red wine grapes and a big honey appearance, toned down by an immediately uprising tartness. Has an aqueous quality after this first impression, more sour and funky, with cream cheese and old leather cutting through. Finishes clean, with younger appearing grapes, moldy oak and light citrus.

Very close to a rich red wine with a great tartness to balance things out in a very compelling way.

A 250ml draft pour at Moeder Lambic Fontainas into a Cantillon Gueuze glass.

Appearance: A hazy red grape wine colour with a thin pinkish head that had a lasting cover and some nice lacing.

Aroma: Grape, mixed berries and a touch of wood.

Taste: Lightly sour and tart, red grapes, mixed berries, oak, light lemon and funk on the finish.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Overall: Very enjoyable and easy to drink.

On draft 12/18
Ruby red color with a light peach hue.

Lots of red grape notes. Very wine line. Vinous and tannins. Earthy with leather notes. Very bright and fruity. Nice feel. A little acidic in the finish. Very nice.

White head. Peach hued amber ruby color. Very wine like. Red grapes and tannins. Oaky, light funk. Hints of barnyard manure that will hopefully develop over the years. 4.5
