Bottle, RBESG 2007 in Glasgow, Grand Tasting. Hazy deep golden colour. Intense and complex aroma of gooseberries, vinous notes, farmhouse and oak. Intense sour and lemony flavour, notes of sour gooseberries.

The "F**k Yo Passport" Tasting. 375ml bottle, 2005 cork, into Cantillon taster.

Pours orange, white head, thick ring around the glass. Nose is pickles, very sour, oak, and then a lot more sourness. Flavor is just a palate-destroyer sourness, not much of the berries at all, some citrus in there too perhaps. Body is light, good carbonation, very dry.

This beer is insanely sour and overall one-dimensional...if you like them sour and don’t want to taste much less the rest of the day, you’ll enjoy this beer. Unique and glad to have tried it, but too hyped.

I figure I should do this one justice with a full review. Tasted at the One Pint Pub in Helsinki on May 12th with jrallen34. We were fortunate to try this and the other 2 rare One Pint Pub Cantillons. As with the red currant version, very sour even for Cantillon but had more of a flavor...you could taste the gooseberries. It has huge character of the berries but very tart, sour, and bitter. Very thankful to have tried this. Recommended if you make to One Pint Pub in Helsinki. Cheers!
