On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas in Brussels, Belgium.
This one pours a light golden yellow-ish color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like white wine, grapefruit, passionfruit, lemon rind, and oak.
This is really fantastic, and one of the most drinkable lambics that I’ve had in a while now. Though it is lactic and acidic, it’s also very citrusy with pleasantly soft but not overly sugary sweetness. It’s oaky, and wine-forward, naturally, it’s a grape lambic.
This is light bodied, soft, not too acidic, and quite drinkable.
I really, really enjoyed this one, and I don’t really care much about lambics anymore.
