You don’t seem to come across many Blonde Ales’ anymore, but I appreciate the style when I see it. From a sixteen ounce aluminum can. This one is a clear golden color. The head is slim with little lace. The aroma has some very light bread and distant fruit notes, but it is quite light. The taste is balanced, with a little more pronounced bread and fruit flavor. Nicely balanced. As an introductory craft beer, Blondes were always approachable for macro drinkers. This one holds true to the style. I enjoyed it.

On draft at Friendship. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of caramel, crackers, citrus and floral notes. Sweet toasted caramel with citrus and a mild bitterness.

Light copper colored with a fingernail of off white around most of the rim and just a trace across the top. There’s a lot of carbonation bubbles erupting from within. The aroma is of a Club Cracker with a hint of ginger. I’m tasting light, bready malt with a trace of ginger. The mouth is very light and approachable.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a copper color with a decent head. Aroma of citrus, bit of malt sweetness and grain. Taste of malt sweetness with grain and bit of citrus in the background. Mild bitterness with a slightly sweet finish. Moderate body, smooth with a splash of vanilla that gives it sort of a cream ale feel. Nice beer.

A great light bodied Creme Ale with a smooth finish. Slightly hoppy but nothing to dramatic. Very subtle notes of citrus and pine. Flavorful with light tastes of citrus and great malt flavor.
