On tap at the brewpub. Pours a deep brown color with a tan head and nice lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, nuts, bit of chocolate and caramel. Taste of roasted malt nuts, some coffee, chocolate and caramel. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Medium body, smooth, nicely balance with a easy malt character. Enjoyable beer.

Pours a black color. 3/4 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, oatmeal, hint of peanut butter, and slight alcohol. Fits the style of an American Porter. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, oatmeal, hint of piney hops, slight roasted malt, peanut butter, and slight alcohol. Overall, good appearance, body, and blend.

I'm trying this at the brewery while in town for son's hockey against the Jr Blues. It poured an opaque dark with thin off white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of chocolate. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with chocolate and peanut butter hints. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a decent beer.
