Pours a cloudy brown/gold color. 1/3 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and great lacing. Smells of slight bacterial funk, slight salt, fruit (cherry?), slight sweet malt, slight alcohol, and spruce. Fits the style of an American Wild Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is a strong tartness and an herbal dryness. Tastes of slight bacterial funk, slight salt, fruit (cherry?), slight sweet malt, slight alcohol, floral notes, and slight spruce. Overall, high complexity, blend is a little off kilter, the spruce is great, and the floral is pleasant.
