DATE: October 12, 2025... OCCASION: celebrating Michael's seventeenth birthday with a beer that just recently became available to me (thanks again, Best Cellars!)... GLASSWARE: 20 oz. nonick.. this pours a cloudy, dark gold body whose head diminishes to a roiling circle at the glass... Krush gives this a berry, woody aroma, while the more common El Dorado delivers watermelon and mango... not much in the way of maltiness; given its GF nature, mot surprising... a positive, alluring aroma... its mouthfeel buzzes with hops at the teeth, fizziness on the tongue, and a thicker, lasting imprint at the throat... a beautiful blend of mango, watermelon, pulpy orange juice, mint, and berry... this offers a fantastic GF experience, with robust flavor... the price point, a bit high, is well worth it... keep it coming, Ghostfish!

Poured from a 16 ounce can into an IPA glass.
Look- Straw, sudsy white head, hazy, plentiful active bubbles, average head retention, below average lacing.
Smell- Guava, melon, passion fruit, peach.
Taste- Guava, melon, passion fruit, peach, herbaceous.
Feel- Between thin and medium body, moderate astringency, slightly above average carbonation, low bitterness, soft.
Overall- My father-in-law has celiac. I buy him a four pack of this series when I come across it, but only three make it to him! This version was actually pretty tasty for a gluten-free offering. If the astringency would have been dialed back it would have been down right delicious.

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
I'm pretty sure I saw a movie with that title somewhere, maybe a Cinematic Titanic offering or some such treatment. Anyway, this stuff pours an appropriately hazy sunset gold topped by a finger or so of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises pine needles, orange pith, light bread, and a hint of passion fruit way in the back where those damned stoners and troublemakers sit. The taste brings in more of the same, a wave of orange flesh and honeydew softening the bitterness from the nose. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a mostly smooth feel. Overall, a pretty nice GF hazy number, one that masks the GF malts fairly well, but one that doesn't otherwise wow in any way.
