Draft
A: murky orange brown with small khaki head
S: slightly sweet malt and apple
T: strong green apple taste, a little sour. Good Belgian quality to it, but not so much apple pie, more like a Caramel covered green apple with not enough caramel at all.
M: slightly carbonated and lighter feel
Overall: a interesting Belgian

On tap at Newhall Refinery in Newhall, CA.
Pours a murky orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that fades to nothing. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with malt, green apple, and spice aromas. Taste is much the same with sour green apple and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer with interesting sour green apple qualities, but I am not getting any real apple pie aromas or flavors.
