500ml bottle with some Angel City brewing glassware

A: Extra light straw gold body with great clarity and effervescence. A dense layer of ivory builds up top and remains for a few minutes before dissipating down to a small crown. Very little to no stick action observed minus a few light dots and patches of lace.
S: Smells of lemongrass and lychee fruit with some grainy malt built underneath. The nose is very grassy actually where I was expecting much more gooseberry effect here. Still nice however with and delicately showcasing the Citra hops with lots of citrus notes.
T: Lemongrass with lychee and gooseberry develop up front. Has a grainy malt base secondary which is best I can describe. Not bready or sugary but definitely grain like. Lightly herbal presence with grassy resins and a nice bitter hop bite to it. Dry and crisp through to the finish. This is quite a refreshing sessions.
M: Super light and dry with a crisp finish. Moderate to upper levels of perceived bitterness constrict at the palate some. Extended resinous effect noted long after the swallow.
D: This is well done although I guess you can’t really go wrong with the Citra hops. A very tasty and drinkable sessions IPA none the less. Recommended.
