Bottle I brought to share at Retsinis' tasting.
Collaboration Series # 1.
Pours a murky dark orange-brown with a foamy beige head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of blue cheese, chlorine, diaper, and candle wax aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour earth, dirt, funk, chlorine, and wood flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty poor beer that is just a mess of cheese, chlorine, dirt, and other undesirable characteristics that make this one an instant drainpour.
Serving type: bottle.
