This dark lager was aged in oak bourbon barrels and is slightly sour.
-tap pour is cola colored with no visible carbonation. The aroma is sweet, dark fruit and oaky. The flavor is deep malt and both bourbon and vinous/bourdeaux with a grippy tartness. There is a bit of detectable carbonation. This is a unique blend of mellow, pleasant elements, but few of them are typically beer- like. This required time and effort. I'm pleased to have had it.
