Pours a cola color with a ruby tinge wich was nice but there was almost no head even after a rough pour wich kept the looks from being a 4.Some spicy rye intertwined with dark fruits,quite alcoholic and that mixed with the dark fruits makes for a big punch in the nose.Sweet brown sugar and candied fruits make for a sweet palate,there is a bit of the toasted rye barrel but the sweetness really is the biggest flavor component.The slick almost oily feel is also a drawback.I love all things rye from bread to whiskey and I would have liked to have a bigger presence here,it's a big sweet bomb.
