Consumed June 19th, 2012 at Blue Palms Brewhouse, Hollywood, CA.
Beer is a very clear medium amber/copper. Less than a finger of white head which becomes sticky splotches on the sides of the glass.
Aroma - agreeably piney, almost solvent-like aroma. Notes of zest and spice.
Flavor - Similar to aroma. Sweet with a touch of caramel, melanoidiny malt. Low bitterness, oddly, though quite hoppy.
Fairly dry on the finish.
Good stuff!

On tap at Haven Gastropub in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a clear light orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy chunks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, citrus fruit, citrus zest, yeast, and spice. Taste is much the same with a medium spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with some solid aromas and flavors.
