From the 22 oz bottle in a snifter. This nice XPA pours a nice lightly murky amber
tinged straw color with a fluffy head of white foam that settles to a thick ring,
thick layer, and modest lacing. Nose of heavy piney hops, heavy citrus notes lemon zest,
and subtle grain notes. Flavors follow but lightly exceed the \taste with lemon and pine
lightly touched with grain and subtle honey malts. Nice mouth feel, medium carbonation, and
a dry hop laden finish. Overall good for the summer seasons, but really like their stouts more.
Nice change of pace.

Cheers

Super foamy head build up... over half the pint glass on a hazy straw body.
The aroma is mild lemon and honey.
The taste is mild overall, lemon and mild pine bitterness.
The texture is soft and fizzy.
Super foamy, mild flavor.

I thought this was really good. I wasn't expecting it to be, but it was. mine said 4.7% and was on draught at BT's BBQ in Huntington Beach. easy to drink, decent flavor. i'm surprised at the 'lower' ratings because this one is pretty goo. it doesn't pack the huge pine and grapefruit, but it is an easy-drinking brew that can be settled into.

Bready, crisp, clean, not noticing any of these grass or pine flavors. Defiantly picking up lemony / grapefruit characteristics.
