Hazy bronze, slight head, tropical fruit smell and taste. Refreshing. First beer in Scotland. I’m glad it’s a low ABV cause I’m jet lagged and can’t get food yet!

L- Between deep amber and pale chestnut, pours with minor haze and 3-4mm foam head.
S- It has a mild fruit edge to it, 'gentle citrus'.
T- Quite dry, the hops build over a few seconds, and match the citrus smell noted^. The flavour palate is contemporary/'hipster' yet it's not OTT and in-your-face as some of such beers can be.
F- Quite light, crisp, punchy hops and sufficient body that it's neither thin feeling (ie over-prominent hopping) or unrewarding as some 4.6% contemporary beers can be.
O- Interesting to try, nothing egregiously misplaced or 'wrong' here, just somewhat hoppier/dry than I would usually go for. Would probably work better for me in high-summer when I've a serious thirst to slake.
330ml can bought from Oddbins Portobello Road, London W11 £2.80. BB: 3-Feb-2021

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
