Copenhagen 29/6 2020. 50 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Drawing of two hipster soulmate rubbing shoulders in a little mirror surrounded by small stars on the can.
Pours hazy, pale yellow with a medium-sized white head. Fairly stable. settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Small sediments of yeast whirling about. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of exotic fruit and a more subtle scent of citrus fruit. Peach and pineapple. Citrus and grape fruit. A bit acerbic.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a citric undercurrent. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Solid NEIPA with a strong fruitiness and a more subdued bitterness.

Pours a hazy dark yellow with soft, fine head.
Smell is juicy and very much Sabro-forward with notes of citrus, lemongrass and coconut. Some mango and a hint of pineapple as well.
Taste is soft and juicy with notes of grapefruit, blood orange, lemongrass and coconut. Mild bitterness with some hoppy bite and just a hint of tartness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy, well carbonated.
Overall, damn, I'm impressed. Bought the beer for the can art, but the content is excellent. Great showcase of Sabro and very well made. Gotta try more Zagovor!
