Pours a hazy, deep orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity malt and juicy tropical/citrus hops, with notes of mango, passion fruit and papaya, as well as a hint of grapefruit. Taste is great balance of biscuity malt and rather sweet and juicy tropical fruit notes of mango, passion fruit and papaya, as well as lighter, slightly zesty citrus accents of grapefruit, with just a hint of blueberry. Finishes with a light bitterness and some passion fruit and papaya lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is a rather typical, old-school NEIPA that's big on the sweet and juicy tropical notes, with a low bitterness. While I personally prefer my NEIPAs a bit more on the dank and bitter side, this is nevertheless an excellent example of the style with its rather vibrant and juicy tropical fruit vibes and soft, almost pillowy mouthfeel. Very enjoyable for what it is, while the ABV is not detectable at all here either, which is rather nice.
