Copenhagen 9/8 2020. 50 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. What looks like a sun set in Miami Vice on the can.
Pours murky burgundy with a small, bubbly pink head. Disappears after a few seconds leaving what looks like beetroot juice behind. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet odor of fruit mingling with tart notes and a hint of funk. Peach, oranges, raspberry, blackcurrants. Tart gooseberries White sugar.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, watery, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger tart, sourness. Aftertaste is sour. Lingers for a while. Finish is sour and dry.
Intense and fairly well-balanced for a sour brew.
