I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a clear copper with no head and no lace. The scent had sweet malt flare. The taste was sweeter leaning with slight bitter and boozy finish. Wasnt to bad to drink. The mouthfeel is fuller in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Old school bitterness meets succulent new hops in an imperial IPA that brings both worlds together. Never backing off of the bitterness with Galena hops while embracing the fruity nature of Citra, Dry Ground's Imperial IPA appeals to a wide array of hop heads.
Pale and hazy gold, the frothy off white froth of Under Tow reveals a perfumy cloud of citrus, light tropical fruit and stemmy herbs for a light pungency but the strong succulence of fruit punch. Caramelized grain, toasty sweetness and an overall granola character layers onto the tongue with full but relaxed sweetness to buffer from the brunt of hops.
As the sweetness continues to relax, the hops overtake the lasting malts with a tangy and tantalizing tangerine character. Followed by the lightness of mango, apricot and lemon, the melange of tropical fruit and citrus rolls effortlessly into a bitter grip of pine, leaf and stem.
Medium bodied, the beer's full malt impressions early trend dry, crisp and refreshing; drinking more like standard IPA than the richer imperial version that's advertised. Peppery, herbal and trailing with the likeness of hemp, the beer's long bitter finish is sappy, resinous and grassy, long and lean on the after palate.

Pours a golden honey brown with a light white head with good lacing. Nice full flavor as it hits your tounge with a good balance of hops.
