I'm trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a six sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had roast and molasses hints. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. Dark chocolate, roast, caramel and maple syrup come to mind. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with smooth carbonation. Overall its a great beer.
