Can: Poured a hazy beige/yellow color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fresh grapefruit notes with some citrusy hops notes and light residual sugar notes. Taste is an incredible punch of grapefruit with nice floral citrusy notes and light bitterness also noticeable. Body is full with good carbonation. I loved the citrusy notes of the hops and the balanced level of bitterness.

Pours a cloudy dehydrated piss color with tons of floaties and a finger of beige head that ends up as a scummy film. Dank herbal stone fruit is the main force in the aroma with more bruised herbal medicinal-ness coming through in the flavor; peach, mango, sugar cookies, weed. Soft carbonation and a softish feel as well, but not juice-like like some. Generally speaking a good, enjoyable beer. They don't quite get the fruitiness out of the hops without ending up with some resinous shellac. This wouldn't even be a real complaint if not for the fact that it is a single hop IPA and so the sappy part is one-note-ish and verged on too much to balance the sweetness. The malt body definitely was less noticeable in this one that in the normal version, but a decent IPA nonetheless. It actually gets a little fruitier and less medicinal as it warms, which made it better in my book. Glad these to see that these guys are making a go of it.
