Canned: May-15-2017
A:
Pours a cloudy, pulpy white gold
with a few fingers of thick beige head.
Good retention; gloppy lacing (4.25)
S:
Mango and tangerine with some faint malt and fainter bitterness. (4)
T:
Light bitterness, grass, animal crackers, mango, clementine skin. (4)
M:
Soft, medium body with prickly carbonation and a smooth finish. (4)
O:
A tasty, soft, juicy-type IPA.
It pours a thick cloudy, milky-blonde with a puffy head that settles to a few big clots with gloppy lacing. The smell is all mango and orange with some cracker malt underneath. It tastes along these same lines but is a little less fruity and features a little more pollen-like bitterness. It is easy-drinking, smoky and bubbly. Mighty refreshing. I don't feel like the hops pop as much in this one as in the Citra version but they are there and do make for a good beer.
I'd be really interested to try it a touch fresher and I will have it again if I see it. (4)

Can: Poured a light yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of floral citrusy notes with light dank notes is interesting. Taste is also a mix of citrusy floral undertones with some light dank and grassy notes with limited bitterness noticeable. Body is about average with good carbonation. Solid IPA but I was expecting a bit more prominence from the hops.
