Can: Poured a slight hazy pale yellow color ale with a nice large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of grassy hops notes with light citrusy notes is quite refreshing. Taste is a nice mix of fresh citrusy hops notes with grassy notes and very subtle bitterness. Body is average with good carbonation. Not the best from the series but very enjoyable nonetheless.

Canned: No date (but within two weeks max)
A:
PoursĀ a milky yellowish color
with a couple fingers of airy beige head that ends up as a thin cap. Decent retention; ringed lacing sheet around the glass. (4)
S:
Herbaceous hops with lemon and grapefruit rind (more oily/bitter than juicy). (4)
T:
Sticky green hop flavor with a smooth underlying sweetness there is the same citrus oil quality but more as a shellac of light bitterness at the finish. (4.25)
M:
Medium body with soft carbonation and a sticky, faintly astringent hop finish. (4)
O:
This is a pretty nice IPA, definitely among the best of this series of beers from Vox Populi.
It does a relatively good job of bringing stickier, more bitter hoppiness into the beer-type of the moment. It looks like what your expect. The aroma and flavor highlight the hop well with a balance of juicy bitter citrus and bruised herbs. It is fairly drinkable though a little alcohol whiff and some slight astringency hurt it a bit in my eyes. All told, though, this is a nice beer and I'd have it again.
It's always nice to have a juice bomb that isn't quite a juice bomb. (4.25)
Edit: I've had it a few times now and with a week or more age beyond my original review (wanted to do more but couldn't hold out) it got noticeably better. I ended up bumping the taste, feel and overall scores up by a quarter point each. Definitely among the best of this series of beers in my opinion as far as catching multiple layers of a single hop in a delicious, juicy beer.
