A-Coca-Cola brown with an orange-red tint and an off-white espresso head that dissipates quite quickly
S-Mainly roasted malts, with an air of burnt bread.
M-Light body with medium carbonation.
T-Sweet upfront with a mellow bitterness that counter balances, nothing really outstanding nor particular about the flavour of this beer. Definitely no hazelnut, but more of a burnt coffee, dark chocolate aftertaste that does linger
O-Granted, the can was old, sampled in mid-March with the canning date of mid October, but I really missed out on any nutty character flavour or aroma from this beer, too bad.

Can: Poured a deep brown color ale with a large light brown foamy head. Aroma of dry caramelized malt with light toasted notes with hints of hazelnut. Taste is also dominated by deep notes of caramelized malt with some toasted notes and very light notes of residual sugar. Body is fuller then average for the style with good carbonation. More powerful then expected while retaining some pretty good drinkability.

Serving: Can
Date: Unknown, but fresh.
A:
PoursĀ a fairly clear coke brown
with a big tan head. Good retention; sticky lacing. (4)
S:
Candied nuts. Walnuts, hard water, Brown sugar. (4)
T:
Follows the nose for the most part. Medium roast flavors with some nuts and some sweetness. (3.75)
M:
Pretty thin body with active carbonation and a lingering finish. (3.5)
O:
A pretty nice beer.
It pours a dark brown, fairly clear, with a nice big head. Both the aroma and flavor are about what I expected. Some nutty roast flavors, a hint of chocolate, drinkable. It is a little thinner and a little harsher than I like but it is by no means a bad beer on the whole. Well-balanced, tasty. Would have again, but I likely would not seek it out. (3.75)

From Can
A: Pours a deep brown color, fully translucent. Head is tan, soapy, dissipates to a crown quite quickly. The retention is so so but the lacing is pretty good.
S: Strong smell of nuts (walnuts, chestnuts) as expected, lost of molasses, smoky notes, leather. There is some minerality and a light amount of grassy hops.
T: Goes well with the smell: walnuts, chestnuts, molasses, smoke, leather, pepper and grassy hops. Some kind of soy sauce like flavors are there too, but not enough to make the beer bad at all. Some torrefied malts.
M: Medium body and carbonation. A bit sticky despite the low amount of residual sugars.
O: This is a solid brown ale. It's a genre we don't get a lot in Quebec, but I'm always happy to see some from time to time.
