Can: Poured a hazy bright yellow color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tropical flavours with some citrusy undertones is pleasant. Taste is also a mix of tropical flavours with some citrusy notes and some tropical flavours. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable IPA but not the most shining hops varietal.

A:
PoursĀ a orangeish gold with three fingers of foamy beige head that quickly dissipates. All right retention; shimmy lacing. (4)
S:
Ripe melon, dried mango, grassy, dough. (3.75)
T:
Hollow, dry suggestion of bitterness, white bread. (3.25)
M:
Thin body with relatively active carbonation and a parched finish. (3.5)
O:
Ok but nothing spectacular.
It pours nice enough. The aroma has a nice cantaloupe over-sweet mango highlight but is definitely not dominated by it. The flavor is even less like this with no hoppy fruitiness, just a slight crisp bitterness and is primarily bready (almost reminds me of wort). It is neither terrible nor excellent. Never had calypso before though that I'm aware of though maybe that's just how it is. (3.5)
