A: Pours a dark-ish amber color with a white frothy head with tons of volume and really good retention too.
S: This is a lactose IPA with vanilla and it smells just like this. Think pineapple milkshake kind of thing and you'll be very close to the truth. Whipped cream, vanilla, pineapple, mangoes and a tiny bit of graham cracker in the malt base.
T: Tastes just like the nose. There is a ton of whipped cream, super ripe/canned like pineapples, super ripened mangoes and quite a bit more graham crackers than the nose.
F: Creamy as expected from the lactose, a tiny bit sticky.
O: This is a bit of a dessert IPA. I feel like a lot of people won't like it as much as I did. It is VERY far from a traditional NE/West Coast IPA. But I really do see what they were going for with this beer and to me it is a success. I'm slightly biased as it makes me think a ton of a dessert my mom used to do when I was younger (which seems to be called Pineapple Delight in English).
