Poured from a 16oz can into a willi becher glass. Beer is dark brown and decently cloudly. Head is khaki-colored and pretty substantial. Smells roasty but not much of hops. Taste is typical for a brown ale: roasty, nutty, and slightly chocolatey malts. Taste is far more subtle than I would like. Hop flavor is not very noticeable aside from the bitterness at the end. Bitterness is a tad high in my opinion. Mouthfeel is relatively thin. Decent beer, but I probably wouldn't get it again.

From a tall can, this brew is a deep brown color with a thick off-white, rocky head. The aroma is lightly roasted, with a nut-like scent. No real hop aroma. The taste has a light malt flavor...light nut and wood, with faint brown sugar. The finish has enough bitterness to provide balance. Creamy and full mouthfeel. This is a straightforward and well made brown ale.

Pours a clear brown color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled roasty and sightly nutty. Sweet tasting up front with a nutty flavor. Nice bitter hop bite for balance.
