Refreshing, crisp finish, totally sessionable. Everything you’d expect from a traditional Kölsch-style beer. Only thing is, we use a first-wort-hopping process, which smooth’s out the bitterness profile while amping-up the overall hop presence, leaving you with a noticeable, but not too bitter finish.

Pours a crystal clear light light pale golden color - almost lacks any coloration all. Thick frothy white head collapses in on itself leaving soapy splotches of white lacing behind on the glass. Mildly effervescent albeit a long lasting mild effervescence.
Aroma is a light bright grainy aroma with some noticeable honey like sweetness and a floral hop aroma. The aroma is hoppier than I would expect for this style, but its not unpleasant.
Taste has notes of grain throughout, with some light pilsner cracker malts. There is a strong happiness that comes across through some grass, alfalfa and lemon grass. The hoppiness is not super bitter, but it is a predominant flavor in the beer. Definite fruity sweetness to the beer. Notes of honey come through as well. Lingering mild dry bitterness on the finish.
Feel is light and drinkable, but it lacks the crispness of better examples of the style. Mild carbonation. Very dry finish leaves a palatable feeling on the palate.
Overall its a decent beer, but just misses the mark for the traditional style. As an American riff on the style, its ok, but not one I'd pick up again.

My favorite Kolsch. A very easy drinking session beer. Great for the summertime. Light on the nose.

It pours a clear yellow with a large white head that stays also good lacing to it. The smell is of bread and not much else. The taste is light and watery but a light hop to it on the backend. Overall a very nice easy to drink and refreshing one.

Taste: crisp piney hops meet fruit and subtle malt. Citrus, yeast, bread nose. Gold, crystal clear, white head, some lace. Lite body. Pretty close to style. 24 IBUs

Pours a clear straw color. 1/3 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of strong pale malt, hint of floral hops, hint of wheat, and a hint of yeast. Fits the style of a Kolsch. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with a high carbonation level. Tastes of strong pale malt, hint of floral hops, hint of wheat, hint of piney hops, and a hint of yeast. Overall, good appearance, aroma, and body, but too carbonated.
