It pours a clear yellow with a large white head that stays also good lacing to it. The smell is of bread and not much else. The taste is light and watery but a light hop to it on the backend. Overall a very nice easy to drink and refreshing one.

Taste: crisp piney hops meet fruit and subtle malt. Citrus, yeast, bread nose. Gold, crystal clear, white head, some lace. Lite body. Pretty close to style. 24 IBUs

Pours a clear straw color. 1/3 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of strong pale malt, hint of floral hops, hint of wheat, and a hint of yeast. Fits the style of a Kolsch. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with a high carbonation level. Tastes of strong pale malt, hint of floral hops, hint of wheat, hint of piney hops, and a hint of yeast. Overall, good appearance, aroma, and body, but too carbonated.

12 oz. bottle, no bottled on date. My first beer from Around The Bend Beer Co., acquired a single bottle of this stuff as part of a mixed six pack at the local Binny's.

Poured into a Duvel tulip snifter.

A - Pours a big fluffy four fingers of frothy white head, big and foamy, scraggly. Bottle conditioned? Body is a hazy cloudy golden with lots of sediment visible. Head is huge and long-lingering.

S - Aroma is faint and musty. Light hint of grapes pulls through. Clean grain, with maybe a very mild faded citrus hop note. Not unpleasant, but a very bland aroma.

T - Taste is crisp & grainy, with subtle notes of indistinct / grape fruitiness. Minor faded leafy hop presence / some yeast.

M - Feel is smooth, crisp, clean. Semi-dry finish. A light-medium with nice carb.

Overall, an average offering from Around The Bend. Nice to have tried it, but i wouldn't recommend it or have it again. Interested to try more from this brewery.

Bright gold with steady rising carb trails. Pillowy, rocky head of sudsy foam that rises above the rim of the stange glass.
Lasting surface coverage and lots of lacing. Looks very nice.

Aroma is mild, doughy and floral, light apple yeast ester.

Taste is similar, mildly bitter, sliced apple, dry and grassy finish.
Clean and light bodied, well carbonated. Overall it's well made with no flaws.
Very good for a summer BBQ or similar occasion. Simplicity is vastly underrated.

The Ghost was a solid drinkable Kolsch. It poured a clear yellow (I made sure I cut it off befor the sediment came out of the bottle) with white head that left a nice lace. The scent had some bread like notes. The taste was evenly balanced and finished crisp. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was quite nice.
