From the pint can in a snifter. This solid little brew pours a
deep blackish brown with a thin dark tea highlight and a decent
head of tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thin light dusty layer,
and shows subtle lacing. Nose of char and roast with faint cocoa
and orange notes. Flavors lightly surpass the nose with orange
and cream with touches of pith and zest over a bed of dark cocoa
and faint coffee with plenty of char and roast. Nice mouth feel;
full body, medium light carbonation that gives nice lift, and a
rich roasted finish with a touch of orange and cocoa.
Overall, of the chocolate orange brews I have had I like this one
the best since it is more "STOUT" centric and less of a dessert
brew.
