This trial puts Mosaic, Ekuanot and Citra to the test. Big hits of tropical fruit and citrus will emanate from your glass. A softer mouthfeel accentuates the juice.

Had on tap at Krafted in Elmhurst, IL. 12 oz pour into . . . well it wasn't a "pint" glass was it, not being 16 oz. Had back-to-back with Maplewood's Juice Jorts and this was the superior hazy, but not a superior hazy overall. Standard Midwest take on the style: no complaints. Would have another if offered at a BBQ but I'm not waiting for Binny's to open iygmd.

16 fl oz. can, no date. These just landed at the local beer store recently, so it looks like Around The Bend is reviving an old beer? Listed as retired here on BeerAdvocate.
Poured to a Central Waters snifter.
A: Not the murkiest liquid ever, but it's got some cloudiness. Barely passes the New England style haze test; it doesn't look too much more hazy than your average dry-hopped DIPA, but I digress. Small finger of white head doesn't stick around for long..
S: Huuge aromas of citric acidity, Flintstones vitamins, oranges / clementines, citrus zest.
T: A bit more balanced than the nose would have us believe. A bit of malted biscuity breadiness present. Lots of citrus, orange, mango, lemongrass.
F: Feel is nice. Good carbonation; smooth, slick, crisp. Not overly bloating or viscous like some of these beers tend to be. Not boozy or astringent. Fairly easy-drinking & medium-light bodied for the modest 7.0% abv.
Overall, a recommended effort from Around The Bend in the tired sea of "hazy IPA's".

Looks: like yellow beer, smells: a little astringent. Citra, ekuanot, bravo, mosaic, so lots of hops. Nice hoppy blend. Juicy, hoppy, green, sweet, but not overly. Malty, 2 row, oats, red wheat, cara-pils, so lots of malt, well balanced, not overly malty sweet. Hops & malts well balanced. Not at all boozy, 7% tastes will 5. Feel: makes you feel good.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on March 16, 2020. Brewed with Mosaic, Ekuanot and Citra hops. Notes of citrus and tropical fruit.
