Notes:
We here at The Hop Concept do one thing really well; we make hoppy beers. For the beer you're currently holding in your hand, we tapped Mosaic and Idaho 7 hops to brew our latest hoppy creation. Bursting with aromas of tangerine peel and lemon, The Hop Concept IPA has huge notes of juicy and ripe grapefruit while finishing refreshingly dry. We like it so much we named it after the brand. Cheers!

From a 16 oz can (dated either Jan or Feb 3, 2021) into a stem glass. Pours gold with head and lace. Aroma of pale malt & straw hops. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of pale malt, minerals, grapefruit zest, bitter hops. Overall medium body, modest flavors, OK.

This is a lovely, beautifully clean crisp IPA, nicely crafted, definitely not a hop bomb, for the IPA lover that's worn out by too many hazies. Well done!

This IPA is decent but nothing stands out. All the flavors fall flat. It reminds me of how off brand products taste like the name brand stuff but there's always something missing. That's this beer. It's almost there but they missed the mark.

Very good. Perfectly hits the bitter IPA craving without actually being incredibly bitter. Great flavor, if somehow a little flat. But maybe that was just this can.

Pours a fairly clear orange with fine, soapy head.
Smell is fruity with notes of passionfruit, grapefruit and hints of grapes and pine.
Taste is crisp and fruity. Milder than expected, and bit more floral and mineraly. Notes of passionfruit, grapefruit and a hint of cat piss, with a moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, sticky and well carbonated.
Overall, a solid IPA, less classic west coast than I figured it would be.

April 2nd, 2016 - Hopconcept's IPA is a classic stinky and dandy brew, but in a fertile way. It's curvaceous, bold fragrant, like a French blue cheese but as a beer, and with a stank that's off putting unless you're strictly in a beer drinking mood.

7th review, my 2d from brewer, both great.
a) Lovely clear golden yellow body with ample lacing head.
s) Lemony first, floral, papaya flesh.
t) Follows the smell but adds more flowers and candied citrus, fresh, pungent, balanced by bittering conclusion.
f) Mid weight, lots of tongue prickle.
o) refreshing, great first beer of evening, great with food (arugula, lettuce from garden with chicken, pickles, grapes, clementines)

Pours almost clear, with a flat head and no lacing, 1 minute after pour.
Smell is citrusy, pine and mild malts. Taste is citrus, dank pine.. and quite resinous. Mild bitterness, that is quickly gone. MF is light-medium, no carbonation.
I really enjoy dank, oily brews. A very good tasting beer from THC (what?)

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Kappy's in Norwell for about fourteen dollars. My second brew from these guys. Nice brew, at a decent price-point, would buy again.

Pours a beautiful golden straw with a robust yellow head that leaves thick, sticky lacing. Really amazing, pinnacle early 2000s wc ipa look. I finally feel like I understand what 5 'look' is for a style, I'm legit more excited about this beer than I was before I poured it
Smell has a bigger maltpresence along with some danky and earthy hop aromas. Pleasant enough but a little more malt sweet than I prefer
Taste has a more balanced malt backbone and then hits with very earthy, musty hops that fade nicely into melon, jasmine, and citrus blossom on the finish. Has an almost creamy tail end to the flavor despite a bit of scratchy bitterness.
Mouthfeel is nice, not as crisp as it could be and the mouthfeel has the same 'creamy' hint at the end.
Overall this is a nice enough beer, it's got an interesting and very 'dank' cannabis like feel to it (I assume this is intentional with the THC emphasis on the label?) but something is just a little off on it for me. Maybe the creaminess i detect on the edges of the taste and feel are diacetyl? I'm not sure as I'm pretty sure I'm pretty unaware of that particular flavor but anyway it's interesting but not my favorite

Canned 3 weeks ago.
L -- Pours a lovely nearly clear copper orange body with a finger of solid white head produced with moderate pour. Some retention and lacing
S -- Sweet floral, orange candy, new sneaker, papaya
T -- Kinda reminds me of Sip of Sunshine and other West Coast 2.0 DIPAs. Lots of rindy candied citrus, lemongrass, melon
F -- Medium mouthfeel, medium+ carb. Minimal bitterness throughout, but not in the NEIPA way -- the malt sweetness offsets it

One of my new favorite India Pale Ales. Packed with Mosaic and Idaho 7 hops. Juicy and smooth AF with grapefruit, lemon, and citrus rinds with a super dry finish. According to Tomme Arthur, they "spent almost two years working on it" and "has attributes of juicy beers without being opaque."
Hell yeah.

Copper with a slight haze, moderate carbonation and the finger of white head.
Smells very floral of citrus and pineapple, mangoes, papaya and grape juice.
The taste is very floral with hints of mango, grape, pineapple, and a bit of grapefruit.
Medium bunny with moderate carbonation.
I got this in Redding California where I’m drinking it September 22, 2019.
