12oz can. Stamped on can bottom is canning date of '06/06/2022'.
Cloudy, pale gold colored body. One thin finger of white head, which transitions to a bumpy cap and ring. Bands of lacing left behind.
Aroma certainly smells like jalapeno (which does not express "heat"), along with a blonde ale type toasted malt.
Taste also tastes like jalapeno and toasted malt, with a more vegetal version of the jalapeno arising in the aftertaste. There is a hint of heat in the flavor, but also some slight sweetness.
Medium mouth feel, with some creaminess. Beer left on the tongue results in a slight burn, very slight. Very good carbonation.
Delivers on its premise, and well balanced. For those who want a jalapeno brewed beer without the burn, this is it.

a real simple base on this one, just a simple blonde type brew, light in body, dry, pale, minimal, and clean on the ferment. the idea here is to showcase fresh jalapeno character in aroma and flavor without much heat, and i think the real light base beer makes sense for that mission, it lets less pepper go further, and nothing seems forced or out of balance here at all, i actually find the jalapeno character here to be pretty subtle. the jalapeno is green and fleshy and real in the nose, no heat to it at all, they must have seeded and deveined these, but i have no doubt its authentic. the nose is just kind of minimal though, like there isnt a ton happening here. the flavor is better, i get some of the pale malt next to the vegetal pepper, its actually really a neat mix of flavors, and i appreciate the mellowness of the whole thing, no heat on the tongue at all, just a little bit in the throat, but this is easy drinking, and dare i even say refreshing for what it is, with the fresh pepper, light body, and high carbonation. they are proud of this one, and i think rightly so, this is a tough thing to do well, and they got the dose right, at least for my palate. some may with it was more robust, but for me this is ideal, and would make a heck of a beer back for a bloody mary!
