Love the regular lion stout but this is way too sweet.

330 ml bottle into pint glass, 1710061248 bottle code. Pours crystal clear very dark brown color with a 1 finger fairly dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Minimal spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of big nutty medium roast coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, and toasted dark/brown bread; with light notes of vanilla, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big nutty medium roast coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, and toasted dark/brown bread; with light notes of vanilla, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Very mild herbal/grassy hop and roasted coffee bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of nutty coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, toasted dark/brown bread, vanilla, light dark fruit/herbal, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a solid roast/hop bitter/sweet balance; and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/roast bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a very nice English coffee stout. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the minimally bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great balance of fruity/nutty coffee and nicely rich malt complexity; with mild earthy hops against sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.
