Can: Poured a deep black color ale with a nice large brown foamy head with good retention and some good amount of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with smooth citrusy hops notes is quite pleasant. Taste is a great mix of roasted malt with light residual sugar, low bitterness and great floral undertones with citrusy and resinous notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation. Not my favorite style but super well brewed.

Review from memory: pours a deep and dark black with a thin head, and some good lacing. The smell is quite hoppy, being led by the cascade hops, and a nice bit of malts. The taste follows the nose, with a nice amount of hops present, mostly piney, and then a bit of malt. The feel is the "letdown" on this one. Medium feel and medium carbonation, but there was a metallic feel also present, likely from this being an older can.
I enjoy black/cascadian ales, and this was a good version of one.

L- Pours a jet black topped by a 1 1/2 finger tan head. Great retention. Thick, sticky lacing.
S- Dank Pine aroma. and roasted malt (slight coffee aroma).
T- Citrus and Pine hop flavours followed by chocolate malt.
F- Medium body with moderate carbonation. Nothing unexpected here.
O- I don't drink many Black IPA's but when I have a good one, it always surprises me. This brew is incredibly tasty and the meshing of stout/IPA flavour works incredibly well.

Pours a nice dark colour with a nice looking creamier head. Nicely hopped, cascade if I am not mistaken. This is a nice IPA, which is not too bitter in a sea of over-hopped bitter IPAs.
