L- Pours a hazy, slightly orange liquid, topped by a 2 finger foamy white head. Excellent retention. Light sticky lacing on the side of the glass.
S- As the can description says, this brew is packed full of "Pungent Tropical Fruit", along with the obvious trademark flavours of Lemon and Lime from the beautiful Cashmere hops. The bitterness from the Cashmere isn't aggressive at all, but more of a soft, gentle bitterness. Extremely well balanced, while still letting the fruit flavours shine.
T- The taste is identical to the aroma, which is a very good thing in this case. Flavours of Mango and Pineapple hit hard quick, and are followed by a gentle kiss of lemon/lime citrus flavour from the Cashmere hops. Insanely great fruit flavour, while still remaining well balanced. An all-around Homerun with the Cashmere, El Dorado, and Idaho 7 hops. Incredible stuff!
F- Medium body and moderate carbonation. I feel like a lighter body would work in this beers favour, but it's perfectly fine as is!
O- If you're in the mood for a boneshaking, bitter hop bomb, stay far away from Green Island. You won't find anything of the sort here...What you will find is a kickass, juicy, New England Style IPA that is extremely delicious and absolutely perfect on a hot summers day. I really cannot wait to get my hands on this stuff again.
