Pours a grapefruit juice hazy yellow gold in color with a thumb's worth of head. Retention is average but lacing is quite good.
Smell is amazing. Citrus and tropicals all the way through. Grapefruit pith, a touch of orange juice. Just a great nose.
Taste is similar to the nose, with perhaps the grapefruit pith leading. End is a nice sharp pine bitterness that rounds things out nicely.
Feel is on the full end, with medium carbonation. Coats the mouth, but the finish is actually quite dry.
I loved Hu Jon, and the addition of double dry hopping has made this beer even more enjoyable. This is not a quick drink, but it is an enjoyable one. I recommend if you are around Fredericton, you try to grab this one.
