On tap at brewery: Deep hazy dark straw yellowish color with okay lacing. Flavors of peppercorn, pineapples, orange, light butter, caramel, wheat, and herbal hops. Slick and smooth medium body with sharp crispy carbonation. Medium strength finish, dominantly tropical and leafy with zesty yeast and a bit dry hopped. Highly drinkable and fresh. Overall very good quality craft.

A double dry hopped version of Green Island, a unique NEIPA from Trailway that is available on a rotating basis. This review relates to the first DDH batch.
Appearance: poured from a fresh can shipped to me in Ottawa by my loving parents. Poured a hazy, light to moderate yellow, with a small amount of head and minimal lacing.
Aroma: Absolutely fantastic, one of the strongest aspects of the beer. Pungent, tropical fruit, that is somewhat dank, although not nearly as dank as the first iteration of green island, which was perhaps one of the dankest beers I've ever had.
Taste: pungent, tropical juice, slightly dank with moderate bitterness. There is consistently a certain 'je ne sais quoi' flavour with all iterations of Green Island, which is also present here - whatever it is, it makes this beer truly unique.
Mouth-feel: medium body, low-moderate carbonation, sharp.
Overall: another delicious DDH NEIPA from a fantastic new brewery. Green Island remains one of my very favourite rotating offerings from Trailway.
