Bored of your old IPAs? Looking to make a switch? We suggest Switchboard Session IPA. It's low ABV will enable you to connect with friends longer without the static and poor connection often associated with bigger beers. Switchboard's unique blend of hops, tropical flavours, and hazy appearance will deliver good news at every session.

Draft at the brewery
Medium fizzy head with medium retention, light lacing, very hazy cloudy opaque pear-yellow color
Nose big citrusy floral hops, a bit grassy fresh dry hop as well, generic citrus rind, little lemony, fresh grassy slight spicy hop, light malt
Taste starts bitter with spicy earthy hop medium-high bitterness up front, although it's not super bitter but lack of malts increase the bitterness, very low malt profile, hops get a little resiny and dank, citrus zest, and spicy late, drier finish and lingering bitterness
Mouth is lighter bod, higher effervescent carb
Overall not bad, hop character is decent but gets a little overbearing since there's very little malt, even for a session

A relatively decent representation of the style. Clocking in at 4.9ABV, it of course tastes watery, with a rather mundane nose. The head lingers throughout, so that's nice. Yeah, it's refreshing and yeah you can drink more of this than from something stronger, but the taste is simply wanting so why would you?

LCBO London 2019. Hazy wheaten with a modest head. Strong grapefruit & tangerine on the nose. Light body befitting a session IPA with a grapefruit hop finish. Quite radler-like. Tasty, easy-drinking fare. 2019 version is 4.9% ABV.

Pours pale straw with moderate head that dissipates to a thin film but good lacing. Aroma: tropical fruit with spicy grapefruity notes. Flavour brings citrusy american hops to the fore over fruit sweetness. Light and refreshing. Good sessionable summer beer.
