Popped the can and tons of foam exploded. Great sign, I’ve had a lot of NEIPAs with sad heads. Not this time — very dense, orange juice looking beer pours with a two finger, dense foam head that collapses into a half inch, permanent white cap. Very nice
Nice aromas of earthy citrus and grapefruit. This beer is firmly on the citrus side of things, less tropical, though it is there to some extent. Grassy, bitter, and a bit of mango. Maybe it’s the tangerine citrus that adds that hint of tropical fruit on the nose. Gentle grains in the background.
Pretty up front with a mix of delicious citrus and grassy flavours, orange, lemon-lime, and grapefruit star here, before fading into a vaguely piney, vaguely minty finish. The finish is not super long. There are some subtle grains and bready notes on the finish. The bitterness is fairly low overall. Can says juicy, and to this day I’m not sure what each brewer means specifically by that. Is it juicy on the finish? Not really, as some astringent and pith like flavours of grapefruit and tangerine peel star here.
Light-medium bodied, with medium carbonation (on the slightly lower side), resulting in a nice, easy crisp sip. Finish is a bit dryer than you might expect, thanks to the astringency and general pithy citrus notes. Lightly bitter on the finish as well. Very tasty.
Really good NEIPA, citrus forward so if that’s your thing, this is a winner. I can’t say this is a super outstanding beer, but is it just as good as literally any other good NEIPA out there from the US or other countries? Absolutely. I love grapefruit and this has a lot of those notes.

We have all worked a but hard lately so why not take a break. Easing into Christmas with something a little lighter. Enjoyed an Oct 20th can poured pineapple opaque with fine collar and lace. Well balanced nose of mango forward grapefuit and grasses. First taste is robust with citrus forward bomb and here the tangerine emerges as advertised. Citrusy snd full with balanced finish. Overall ideal after a hard day’s work.

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for around $4 CDN.
Appearance - Hazy orange / yellow color with a bit of sediment. A couple of fingers of white head rest on top and stay awhile then leave behind spidery lacing.
Smell - Huge robust tropical notes of grapefruit, mango and tangerine. Not a lot else but quite frankly the intensity of these aromas more than makes up for it.
Taste - Lots of tangerine and orange flavors, bits of mango and some grapefruit pith in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, lively carbonation and easy to drink, with dry almost peppery finish.
Overall - A big winner and a definite must-try beer in the local market. A top notch IPA that hangs with Collective Arts and GLB.

A-Dark straw yellow with a white head that dissipated quickly. Good lacing
S-Fragrant honey dew melon and peach, with tart, sour bites as well.
M-Crisp, yet juicy, with a puckering tartness and acidity that is present. Low to medium carbonation
T-Dry and pine flavour upfront with a subtle bitterness in the form of grape fruit pith that lingers on the aftertaste
O-A solid beer. Elements of true NEIPA are somewhat muted, but present in a way.

So far Muddy York did not disappoint me per se, but it didn't impress either.
Until now.
Working Hard pours hazy yellow, with a tender head retention.
The nose has a flowery bouquet with hops, but also a slight hint of lard, which sounds worse than it is.
The flavour is wonderfully toned down, with wood and seed notes.
Really well done. Will pick up more if I can.

Pours a very thick pale amber with a 2cm head that dissipates rather quickly.
Aroma: lots of tropical fruit including mango, pineapple. Flavour: lighter than expected given the look, complex but refreshing.

Pours a thick dull orange with light head that falls off quickly. Zero lacing.
Lots of tropical notes on the nose including pineapple, guava. Some stone fruit; peach and apricot. Smells just a little like candy.
Tropical fruit on the tongue that mirrors the nose. Bright, despite the turbid look. Pleasant bitter finish. It does, however, finish a little quickly.
Thick and juicy.
This is a better than serviceable NEIPA.
