The low mark on service is not a reflection on the work of individual severs on the planning of the bar which was grossly understaffed on a sunny day, next doorto a university early in the term.

This place is not bad at all for what it is. It is a bit sterile-seeming, but I went during the day, it was practically empty and it is new; so take that with a grain of salt.
This is basically a tap room for Brasseurs Illimités. When I asked for a beer list I was simply told that they had all the Simple Malt series of beers. The waiter was helpful enough. She tried to gauge what I'd like without asking or anything, which is always nice.
It has lots of big wooden tables and a cool little balcony thing above the bar facing onto the street. All-in-all it was a pleasant place. My only real gripe was that the beer was served insanely cold. Granted, I ordered the Imperial Stout but it would have been too cold for a PBR in my opinion. A minor gripe maybe, but it was REALLY cold. Like abnormally so.
Anyway, nice enough place. I didn't have any food, but the menu didn't look too bad, standard stuff, maybe a touch pricey.
The beer was actually cheaper than I would have expected, which is a definite plus since it is pretty close to more diverse, more established beer bars.
Worth a shot if you happen upon it.
