On tap at Buffalo Wild Wings in Medesto, CA.
Appearance - Dark Amber color. A touch hazy. Big dense head that sticks around for a little while. Solid lacing. A good looking beer.
Smell - Slightly sweet. A whiff of malt.
Taste - The hops are prominant (crisp citrus) but the malt flavors (toasty carmel) are substantial, also. All of this flavor, combined with the 8% abv, make for one big brew.
Mouth - Fizzy. Slick. Substantial.
Overall - What we have here is yet another ass-kickin' California IPA (think Sierra Nevada's Torpedo Extra IPA). A nice surprise as I have never heard of the brewery until now.

WARNING! Strong hop aroma and taste! Very clear medium dark amber colour with off white head. It sure looks pretty. High hop flavour with enough malt and carmel to slightly balance. If you love hoppy IPA's, you should enjoy this one. A good sipping beer or I'm sure it's great with spicy meats or even BBQ'd burgers or chicken. May not be for all ale fans, but I would suggest if you like most IPA's to give it a try.
