Looks like a red ale to me a bit hazy but a nice deep Brown amber red color with a nice half inch of froth. Smells of very light biscuit malt and hops with just a tinge of sweet caramel. Taste is pretty nice not very hop forward biscuit malt and a nice malt sweetness with just a bit of hop to balance the high ABV. Overall quite an exceptional imperial red well worth the price of admission.
Edit: as it warmed the ethanol notes got pretty rough on it so I adjusted the score accordingly
