July 28th, 2015 - By the time I reach my third sampler, I begin to suspect that Bloodline Brewing is still cutting its teeth on recipes, because they have roundly tasted like early home-brew latte,pts. The Solver in Blood is much the same, with an overpowering smell of baked apples and a somewhat appealing rustiness. But the palate is thin and gruelish, and the palate is almost entirely flat up front. From there it develops a lightly metallic flavor after that, but it is still weak through the finish.
