When we went here, they were just moving into a new location just across the street. Looked like it might have been an old grocery store. Large bar and tanks across the back of the building. When we were there not many people, but it was mid-week and midafternoon. The staff was friendly and helpful, but busy as they were still setting things up from the move. We ordered a pizza that was good, nothing super. Large area with not many tables but could still moving them over, I think. They said they had only been open in their new location a few days. Vibe may be better after things get settled. Our son took us there when we visited about 5 or 6 years ago.

Visited this location with a large family group while spending a weekend in Nashville. It is a huge operation with a large production facility, a food counter, a bar, two large indoor eating areas and tons of outdoor tables and space. It is basically a simple, industrial set of buildings, but they are decorated throughout with bright, colorful murals. The artist is obviously a big film buff, because there are many classic movie homages built into the murals.

The food menu was extensive, offering enough to please even some picky vegans and vegetarians in my group, but a carnivore will be very happy as well. I tried to count the impressive number of taps, but I've forgotten the answer now (somewhere around 30, I believe, all of their own brews). There were many styles represented, with IPAs dominating, but also including lagers, fruit beers, sours and barrel aged offerings, plus a few seltzers. All that I tried were excellent. There were also some cans and limited release bottles to go. Service was prompt and friendly. This was a great local brewery and a pleasant eatery. I do recommend it if you're in the area.

Large industrial building on a rise just off the highway on the west side of town. Taproom is to the left of the foyer with a straight service bar along the back wall, and a few dozens tables about the floor. 20 beers on tap, single cans to go. Friendly bartender.

This is for the location on Music Row. While recognizing where this one sits, I found this place a bit too much in terms of atmosphere. I appreciated the beer variety, but it was super bright and crowed as one might expect in this part of town. Just didn't;t have the vibe I appreciate.

Big space, on the outskirts of town. You feel like you're in someones back yard, in a good way. They make lots and lots of different beers, which I always appreciate. The taproom is fine, and so is the service. The quality wasn't the best I've had or the best in Nashville, but it's still a good spot to check out. The location closer to downtown might be an easier stop, if you're touring the Nashville beer scene.

I have been to both TailGate locations and both are awesome. The main brewery is in a warehouse type building located outside of Nashville. The other is a nice bar where they do small batch ciders near Vanderbilt campus. The quality of the food and beer are fantastic. The service has the southern charm and very accommodating. There is plenty to choose from on both the food and beer menus. The food....especially the pizza....is excellent. Each location is worth the visit.

The beer selection was endless. No matter what type of beer you like, they got it. Tried a couple of flights to taken advantage of the flavors. Flights are a great deal. The pizza is amazing. We had thanksgiving special pizza...awesome!! I live out of state, but if I lived on Nashville i would join the mug club!

First review for an actual place here.
Fun vibe. Very family oriented. They even had a game room for the kids.
The quality was pretty nice too, liked the beer selection they had. The beer was just okay though, from what I tried. They actually had an insane amount of beer to choose from. Some were crazier than others.
The service was awesome too. They guys there seemed really jolly and were super excited about their brew.
The food was good too from what I saw. Not amazing but good tailgate/fun time food like pizza. It was more about the atmosphere then the food quality.

Last thoughts: this place is in the outskirts of Nashville, so it was a very awesome find for where it was. This place isn't a big heavy hitter when it comes to prestige. But I don't really think they're going for that vibe... They're definitely going for a fun/ relaxed/weekend atmosphere (hence tailgate), so I really enjoyed it.
