With a dark mahogany to ruby color, it has dark citrusy and little grapefruit notes weaving into the caramel and biscuit malt. It also has a mild citrus pine malt aroma, which is pleasant. Although the grassy and the little pine hop stands out, it dissipates back into a balanced state before you know it’s there, like the Alleycat from Lost Coast Brewing. There is a slight ID crisis in the palate, but this is still a good beer overall.
