Hazy dark amber with a modest foam in the nonic. Candy-like sensation, sweet and gunky. Murky hops grab the tongue. Tastes like Long Island Iced tea with a heavy hand on the bitters.
Overall this is one of those bizarre sweet and bitter brews that give a lot of oddball nano-brewers a bad name. It's not strong enough to be an American Strong Ale, so it fits the English category. Not very drinkable. On tap at Half Door in downtown.
