This is our take on a modern Imperial IPA. We infused fruity American hops with Australian Galaxy hops in the double dry-hop to make this interstellar IPA reach even higher altitudes of hoppiness. This hop rocket will take you to the moon and back.

Copenhagen 29/12 2019. 44 cl can from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus (formerly Gunnar Madsen Vinhandel), Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. Flashy bag can with what resembles a shaver trying to look mysterious as motive.

Pours hazy, milky, opaque, murky yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, patchy, almost transparent layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is intense, fruity and overwhelmingly citric. Light odor of sweet peach and mango. Strong odor of Grape fruit and lime. Alcohol lurking just beneath the surface.

Light carbonation. Medium thick, smooth, soft, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium sweet followed by a strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light fermented, boozy touch. Finish is dry.

Certainly a great gig with both a bitter and a boozy bite.

Pours a hazy, bright orange coloration with a mesium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity malt, tropical/citrus hops, with notes passion fruit, guava and orange, as well as a slightly odd earthy/herbal accent as well. Taste is a great balance of sweet'ish biscuity malt and quite vibrant and juicy tropical/citrus hops, with the tropical passion fruit, papaya and guava notes clearly dominanting and lighter citrus notes of grapefruit and tangerine, as well as some earthy/herbal accents coming through in the aftertaste, Finishes with a very light bitterness and hop bite, as well as some tropical notes and herbal accents lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

While this may be just a tad too sweet for my personal taste, it's still a very nicely done NEIPA that certainly doesn't lack in haze or juicy tropical hops, backed up by some citrus and herbal accents to balance things out a little. This also drinks surprisingly and perhaps dangerously easy for an 8.5% ABV brew, without a hint of booziness to it.

Serve that tulip glass from the bottle.

Appearance: comes off a very hazy hazy gold to Amber color with a subtle Whitehead which initially Rose maybe have a finger's length with a vigorous poor.

Smell: has a grapefruit skin aroma but is somewhat light compared to other double ipas that I have had consisting of floral and pine nut scents.

Taste: floral and grapefruit not too bitter actually but also not sweet. Comes off a little heavy on the malt, but I'm not complaining.

Mouth: medium body medium carbonation and semi stickiness to the brew.

Overall: great gift from a great friend, definitely a smooth palate cleanser which isn't overly done. Salud!

L - hazy peach colour, little white head

S - galaxy hop shows all its complexity with dank fruit notes, mango, peach, some herbal and floral notes. A bit of diacetyl

T - more earthy character, the tropical fruit is there too. Herbal. Low bitterness but very hoppy, you don't miss the ddh but the grain bill is interesting with wheat and oat notes

M - low carbonation, juicy

O - A nice hazy dipa. Maybe a bit cloying to be worldclass
