Copenhagen 11/3 2020. 44 cl case from Beerlivery web-shop. Weird form looking colorful and slimy on the can.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet malty backbone and a strong hoppy citric odor. Solid sweetness with a touch of exotic fruits. Fermented citrus fruit, mustard, pine and resin.
Light carbonation. Thick, almost flat, sticky, soft texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong, slightly harsh bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter-sweet. Finish is bitter and dry.
I wonder if I am supposed to call this a TrIPA?! Fine boozy and quite sweet take on a boozy IPA.
